From the Vicarage
Dear friends,
Welcome to the website for the Beacon Benefice, including St Michael's at Beguildy, St David's at Heyope and Knucklas, St Cynllo's at Llangunllo, and St Mary Magdalene's at Bleddfa.
We are four small parishes in the heart of the old county of Radnorshire. The early Celtic fifth and sixth century saints brought the Christian message to the upper Teme and Lugg Valleys long ago.
I have been the vicar since August 2009, and I love living with my family in beautiful, rural Mid Wales.
I hope you enjoy viewing our churches and seeing our church services and activities.
